Werblin Recreation Center, Sonny A.

Named for prominent alumnus and benefactor David A. Sonny Werblin, the Sonny Werblin Recreation Center houses an aquatic center, featuring an Olympic-size pool with movable bulkheads and two auxillary pools. Seating is provided for 1,000 spectators including 400 chair-back seats. Not just a swimming facility, the Recreation Center also includes a fitness center, four basketball, eight racketball, two squash courts and a 2,000-square foot multi-purpose room for such programs as instructional dance and martial arts.
