(Russell Sage College, 1947); Professor of History, Wells College; Professor of History, NJ College for Women (Douglass College), 1927-47; delegate to the Universal Peace Conference in Brussels, 1936; member of the US State Department staff at the United Nations Conference on International Organization, 1945; author of Colonial Writs of Assistance in The New England Quarterly.
